Desiree D'Alessandro is an artist from Tampa, Florida who recently earned her Master of Fine Arts in New Genres and Extended Praxes from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She was a University of California Regents Special Fellow, University of California Humanities Research Institute Scholar (UCHRI), and Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Advanced Collaboratory (HASTAC) Scholar.
D'Alessandro has exhibited works nationally and internationally at the Contemporary Arts Forum in Santa Barbara, Calif.; Museum of Art in Santa Barbara, Calif.; Brevard Art Museum in Melbourne, Fla.; Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; and the Contemporary Art Museum and the Museum of Art in Tampa, Fla.
